Minnesota Public Radio Presents 2014 Top Coast Festival in Minneapolis

From May 30th to June 1st of 2014, Minnesota Public Radio and the University of Minnesota’s College of Continuing Education will present the Top Coast Festival, a series of public talks between industry leaders and public radio hosts. Guests working in the areas of pop culture, philanthropy, health care, and high tech, among others, will offer solutions on how to solve major problems facing the world today.

Headliners for the festival include Ezekiel Emanuel, a former White House advisor and medical ethics chair at the University of Pennsylvania, and Russell Simmons, a highly successful recording artist, entrepreneur, and cultural figure.

The festival will feature a variety of formats, including symposia, workshops, and lectures over the course of a weekend. Registration, which includes access to all sessions as well as a reception on Friday and breakfast on Sunday morning, costs $250. An optional VIP dinner at the Weisman Art Museum costs $125 and features a multicourse meal with free beer and wine.
